This post is about Toasted Cheese and Ham Sandwiches.

Why would anyone post a recipe for Toasted Cheese and Ham Sandwiches?  Well , the answer’s pretty simple.

In Australia and the United States, where 80% of my readers are based,  there are growing numbers of  people looking to lose weight.  But losing weight is hard enough, without depriving yourself of your favourite comfort food.

Which is where my Toasted Ham and Cheese Sandwiches shine like the little stars they are!

Because they’re toasted in the oven, they have less fat, oil, calories and cholesterol than the classic pan fried and ham and cheese sandwich.  But they’re just as comforting and filling.

Quick and tasty, they’re a lite version of the classic grilled cheese and ham sandwich.

Try them out served with a bowl of hot soup, or a fresh salad and you won’t look back!
